General Overview
- [ ] The resume is one page
- [ ] It’s in PDF format
- [ ] It is compatible with the ATS (no columns)
- [ ] The resume looks pleasant to read and is not overloaded with content
- [ ] There are no typos or grammar mistakes
- [ ] Formatting (from top to bottom): Name, Contact Info, Skills, Tech Projects, Professional Experience, Education/Certificates
Personal info section
- [ ] Includes:
- [ ] Your full name and the position you're applying for
- [ ] Your email address, location, and willingness to relocate (if applicable)
- [ ] Links to social media profiles that you use professionally (GitHub, LinkedIn, Medium, etc.), embedded as hyperlinks into the names of the social media platforms, not as full links
- [ ] Does not include:
- [ ] A picture
- [ ] Your age or birthdate

Summary section
- [ ] The summary shows your expertise, achievements, years of experience, and a fun fact to make it more personable
- [ ] It is tailored to the position you are applying for
- [ ] It is no longer than 4-6 sentences
- [ ] It gives the reader a glimpse of work you've done in the past and how the experience you gained doing that work will help you make a unique contribution to this new position
- [ ] The "I" pronoun is not used
